What We’ll Cover:

Alignment Breakdown: Dive into a detailed posture clinic for each pose within Sun Salutations A and B. Learn how to align your body in poses like Downward Dog, Upward Dog, Forward Fold, Warrior I, and more.

Personalized Adjustments: Discover how alignment affects your practice and how to tailor each pose to suit your individual needs.

Jumping & Floating: Work on techniques to smoothly jump or float forward from Downward Dog into a Forward Fold.

Chaturanga Mastery: Explore the mechanics of Chaturanga and how to transition fluidly from a Halfway Lift to Low Plank.

Tim Wagner is a RYT500 teacher who has been teaching for 9 years. He received his 200HR training from Hotbox Yoga in 2014 and his 300HR training in alignment-based vinyasa from 3 Queens Yoga in 2019. Tim has attended Baptiste Level 1, 2, and both Art of Assisting workshops. Tim currently teaches for Hotbox Yoga in Manayunk and Yoga Habit in Fairmount. He has also taught weekly classes for Blue Banyan in Mt. Airy and Yoga Home in Conshohocken.

In 2015 Tim founded Roots2Rise, a Philadelphia-based 501c3 nonprofit organization, and served as Executive Director from 2015-2019. Through Roots2Rise, Tim has extensive experience facilitating mindfulness and yoga classes for, as well as, teaching to various populations across the city. Tim has worked with incarcerated individuals, individuals post-incarceration, seniors, children and students, city employees, and the general public in local libraries, city schools, city recreational centers, other non-profit organizations, and our local parks.
